Pom-Pom Perfection: Crafting With Yarn

Pom-poms are just about the simplest, cutest thing you can make with yarn! You don’t need any fancy equipment (although a pom-pom maker does make things a little easier), and it’s a craft that can be easily adapted to all ages and abilities. You probably already know that you can use pom-poms to add a fun splash of color to a knitted hat, but did you know you can also make pom-pom cats and dogs, pom-pom decorations for your home, and even pom-pom Pokémon? The Library resources below will get you off to a great start – you’ll learn how to master the basics and use your new skills to create some adorable designs. Since even young kids can successfully make pom-poms, we’re also highlighting some books from our catalog that showcase other quick and easy yarn projects for kids.
