The Dog Master, a moving novel that takes place thirty thousand years ago, tells the tale of what the domestication of the wolf (the ancestor of today’s dog) might’ve been like. It’s a wonderfully written and really convincing plot; a few parts even made me tear up. At the end, this heartwarming story left me with an even much deeper appreciation for my own dog.
