Part of welcoming is hearing and learning from stories. In the book, “The Making of a Dream,” a journalist documents and shares true stories of five different DREAMers for over a decade!

The participants took great risks in sharing their continued experiences, because of their immigration statuses. Books like this provide the unique opportunity to learn about the lives of individuals while growing understanding of a larger topic. Immigration can be a polarizing issue, but this title has been reviewed as well researched and widely appealing.
