If you are looking for books that explore diversity in identity, sexuality and relationships, sometimes the best thing to do is to check out some teen titles. Authors and publishers have been deliberately expanding the spectrum of experiences reflected in teen fiction for quite some time, making space for all readers to find themselves in fiction. 

That includes some (possibly) less familiar lived realities. The A in LGBTQIA+ is often used to mean Ally, but it has other meanings, including Asexual (sometimes shortened to Ace.) You can learn more here
