Thanks to the generous response of many Library supporters, this match opportunity will end soon. Call Anne Lee at 412.622.6276 to leverage matching dollars while they are still available.
We invite you to support Potential, by creating your own Library legacy and helping secure Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s financial future.
Your Gift Allows Library Users To Realize Their Full Potential
The CLP–Board of Trustees Endowment Match, Potential, provides an exciting opportunity for supporters like you who wish to advance sustainable support for library services, operations and programs. Your gift to the Library’s Endowment will be invested and the earnings will be put to work to create an ongoing, permanent funding stream for library services that benefit our community today and in the years to come.
CLP’s Board created a significant matching pool of $570,000 to match new gifts and pledges to the Library’s Endowment. As of June 1, less than $15,00 remains in the match pool. This opportunity will end when funds are depleted. Contact Anne Lee at 412.622.6276 or email@example.com to discuss match availability.
You have the option of making a multi-year pledge commitment, which may be paid over time. Matching dollars will be transferred to the specific endowed fund within the campaign period.
Create Your Own Library Story
Potential allows you to tailor your endowment gift. You can:
• Leverage matching dollars to create your own named fund. A named fund can be created with a commitment of $12,500.
• Contribute to CLP’s General Endowment
• Add to an existing named fund
Gift recognition levels include Endowed Legacy Fund, Endowed Library Services Fund, among others. See the list here. Donors who establish a named fund will be recognized in listings of endowed funds from 1895 to the present. You also may qualify for Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Circle, a planned giving society that recognizes people who are committed to sustaining the Library’s mission.
