We invite you to support Potential, by creating your own Library legacy and helping secure Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s financial future.
Your Gift Allows Library Users to Realize Their Full Potential
The CLP–Board of Trustees Endowment Match provides an exciting opportunity for supporters like you who wish to advance sustainable support for library services, operations and programs. Your gift to the Library’s Endowment will be invested and the earnings will be put to work to create an ongoing, permanent funding stream for library services that benefit our community today and in the years to come.
CLP’s Board has created a significant matching pool of $570,000 to match new gifts and pledges to the Library’s Endowment. Potential will match all documented endowment commitments—up to $25,000 per couple—as long as funds are available.
You have the option of making a multi-year pledge commitment, which may be paid over time.
Create Your Own Library Story
Potential allows you to tailor your endowment gift. You can:
• Leverage up to $25,000 in 1:1 matching dollars to create your own named fund (see chart below)
• Contribute to CLP’s General Endowment
• Add to an existing Library named fund
Donors who establish a named fund will be recognized in listings of endowed funds from 1895 to present. You also may qualify for the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Circle, a planned giving society that recognizes people who are committed to sustaining the Library’s mission.
To learn more about how you can create a legacy while strengthening the Library you love for current and future generations, please contact Pat Quinn Winter at 412-622-6276 or email@example.com.
Additional gift recognition levels include Endowed Program Fund, Endowed Collection Fund, and Endowed Leadership Fund, among others. See the list here.
We welcome the opportunity to share details on how you can help realize the potential for individuals, our library and our entire community. Pat Quinn Winter at 412-622-6276 or firstname.lastname@example.org is looking forward to talking with you.
