Find your voice and make it heard! Summer Reading 2023 is a celebration of self-expression and we’re kicking off the fun at CLP – Homewood. The event is from 1:00-3:00pm and features Colour of Song from 1:00-2:00pm.

This program will highlight influential classical and operatic African American artists who’ve influenced and shaped the Black experience and American fabric of music both stateside and abroad. The hour-long program will give a brief description of the artist and their musical background, encourage active listening, and a question session and end with a live music selection.
